Ideal for cyclists, hikers, and water sports enthusiasts, this beautiful holiday home is situated in a stunning location. This lovely holiday house (80m2) is brand new (2012) and fully equipped. Around the harbor apartment, there is plenty of water and lots of space for children to play (sandbox, bicycles, swings, trampoline, and canoes). The garden borders open waters, where you can enjoy fishing from your private jetty.
Layout: The harbor apartment is attractively and completely equipped (with attention to detail). The living room of the apartment is on the first floor, offering a beautiful view of the harbor and the meadows. Open kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave oven, and fridge with freezer compartment. Small but delightful balcony where you can sit back and relax. The harbor apartment has a well-maintained, fresh bathroom and two bedrooms with very comfortable beds on the ground floor. Terrace with garden furniture by the water, and parking for the car (nearby, car unloading is possible at the door). Wi-Fi is available, and bed linen is included in the price.

At the marina, you can rent tidy sailboats or a sloop to explore the Frisian lakes. In Stavoren, located 1-2 kilometers from your holiday apartment, you'll find at the old harbor, among other things, "das Frauchen von Stavoren," the symbol of the medieval legend about the mysterious decline of Stavoren after a wealthy past. Stavoren boasts a magnificent sandy beach on the IJsselmeer coast. The surroundings of Stavoren are particularly suitable for water sports enthusiasts, hikers, cyclists, and nature lovers. From Stavoren, there are options for cozy excursions to 11 cities, such as Workum, Hindeloopen, or Sneek. On a beautiful day, a boat trip to Enkhuizen (Zuiderzee Museum, Fairy Tale Forest), a bike ride through the Gaasterland forests, or simply lazing around on one of the beautiful beaches is definitely worth the effort. In less favorable weather, you could visit the Jopie Huisman Museum in Workum or the Frisian Skating Museum in Hindeloopen.
The holiday home is a pet-free and smoke-free accommodation for four people, where you can enjoy a few holidays or a vacation in Friesland (even in winter, located on the Eleven Cities Route). The cozy atmosphere will make you feel right at home.
