The holiday home has been built on a single level, making it accessible for disabled guests to enjoy a fantastic vacation in Friesland. This holiday home near the Lauwersmeer is very well equipped, and the living room offers a wide view of the surroundings. Here you will find true peace in a beautiful rural setting.
Layout
The holiday home was built in 2011 and features a spacious living room with a beautiful high beamed ceiling, comfortable furniture, and a country-style open kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, 5-burner gas stove, extractor hood, large refrigerator, and microwave oven. The utility room has a washing machine and dryer. On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms (with comfortable beds and possibly a cot). The house has a spacious, modern bathroom with a shower, bathtub, sink, and toilet. Wi-Fi is available. It is possible to pitch a tent on the grounds next to the holiday home, play football, or fly a kite. Experience this unique tranquility, only disturbed by geese and other birds, as well as sheep and other grazing animals.

Surroundings
Lauwersmeer National Park is known as a bird area, and the Lauwersmeer region is visited by nature lovers throughout the year. Occasionally, nice cruises are organized over the Lauwersmeer. This cozy holiday apartment is a great starting point for many beautiful excursions and day trips. In the nearby Frisian village of Anjum, there is still an old Dutch mill that is open for visits. Climbing it is interesting for both young and old. Visit the fishing village of Lauwersoog or take a boat from here to the Wadden Island of Schiermonnikoog. The seal rehabilitation center in Pieterburen is also definitely worth a visit. In the Frisian town of Dokkum, you can shop well or look at the beautiful old facades. In Veenwouden, there is a nice amusement park where children can play wonderfully. All in all, there is a lot to do; a great holiday in Friesland is thus guaranteed.
About 1 km away from the house is the village of Anjum with a supermarket, tourist information, a nice village pub, and a snack bar. This holiday home with Wi-Fi is an excellent accommodation to enjoy a weekend getaway or a well-deserved holiday in Friesland, whether as a couple or with the family. Unique and comfortable.
