Huize Marhenbep is suitable for up to 5 people and is beautifully located by the green dunes of Zoutelande. The house is an excellent starting point for lovely walks, bike rides, sunbathing on the beach, or a shopping afternoon in the village of Zoutelande. In front of the house, there is a sunny terrace with a view of the dunes.
The house has a recently renovated kitchen-diner where you will definitely feel comfortable! The living room has a spacious sitting area where you can relax in the evening after a day at the beach. The open kitchen is equipped with all the amenities to prepare your own meals, including an induction hob, an oven, and a dishwasher.
On the ground floor, you will also find a bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200) with separate duvets and its own washbasin. The bathroom with shower and toilet is also on the ground floor. For your convenience, a washing machine is available.
On the first floor are the other two bedrooms, one with two single box-spring beds (90 x 200) and the children's room with a single box-spring bed (90 x 200). Beds are made upon arrival. A baby cot and high chair are available free of charge upon request. Each bedroom has its own washbasin.
Behind the house, there is a bicycle storage space with the possibility to charge your electric bicycle.
In Zoutelande, parking spaces are subject to charges everywhere. During the booking process, you will be asked for your car registration number. The license plate will be entered into the municipality's parking app, allowing you to park at various parking lots.

Beaches of Zoutelande
Zoutelande, like the other coastal towns in Zeeland, is known for its beautiful, long, and clean sandy beach! The beach in Zoutelande stretches for about five kilometers, where many tourists enjoy days of sun, sea, and beach.
Zoutelande is also called the "Zeeland Riviera" because nowhere else does the sun shine as often and as long as in this seaside resort! Even with a wheelchair or stroller, you can access the beach, and the beach has been awarded a blue flag. This means it is clean and has many facilities.
Zoutelande is sheltered by the highest dunes in the area. These dunes are therefore very popular with hang gliders and paragliders! In the Netherlands, hang gliding and paragliding are restricted to a number of places where flying is permitted. One of these places is Zoutelande.
There's a good chance you'll see paragliders from your towel on the sand or during your walk through the dunes. This way, you get unique images!

Various activities are regularly organized in Zoutelande that are fun for both young and old! Every year in August, Folklore Day is organized. 6. Cancellation
6.1. The landlord may be compelled by special circumstances to cancel or dissolve the rental agreement. Cancellation and release must be done in writing. In this case, the landlord will do their utmost to offer the tenant an alternative. If this is not successful to the tenant's satisfaction, the landlord must, without any liability on the part of the landlord, refund all amounts paid by the tenant.
6.2.1. Cancellations and dissolutions must first be reported by telephone, after which you must confirm this in writing by registered mail, including the rental contract. This letter must be addressed to Walcheren Vakanties.
6.2.2. For cancellations within 24 hours after the reservation, the option right is in force (see point 5).
6.2.3. For cancellations after 24 hours and up to 3 months before the start of the rental period, 15% of the rental sum will be charged.
6.2.4. For cancellations between 3 months and one month before the start of the rental period, 50% of the rental sum will be charged.
6.2.5. For cancellations between one month and one week before the start of the rental period, 75% of the rental sum will be charged.
6.2.6. For cancellations less than a week before the start of the rental period, 100% of the rental sum will be charged.
At all times, administration costs will be charged for cancellations.
6.3. Upon receiving a cancellation from the tenant, the landlord will create a cancellation invoice, taking into account the provisions of this article. Amounts already paid will be settled according to the content of the cancellation invoice and any balances in favor of the tenant will be refunded.
