Explore Calvinet at 3km. You can enjoy canoeing at 20 km or visit the Lot river. Walking and cycling are possible in the vicinity. You can explore Conques at 15 km with the UNESCO World Heritage listed abbey church. The Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Nature Reserve can be reached in a 50 minutes drive.

There is a fireplace to keep yourself cozy during the evening. The living room comes with a TV and dining table to have meals together. Die Ankunft war in Ordnung, der Besitzer war bereits anwesend. Der Kontakt war sehr angenehm. Sie spricht nur Französisch.
Das Haus ist perfekt, alle Räume sind groß, die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Das Inventar ist komplett, mit einer schönen überdachten Außenterrasse. Probleme mit fehlendem WLAN wurden gut gelöst.
Das Umfeld war unserer Meinung nach etwas enttäuschend. Im Dorf gab es seit Jahren kein Restaurant oder Hotel mehr, das städtische Schwimmbad liegt abgelegen und sah nicht ansprechend aus. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt mit mehr als ausreichender Auswahl und auch einen Bäcker. Im Dorf gibt es keinen Geldautomaten, Sie müssen also nach Aurillac, Montsalvy oder Maurs oder weiter fahren. In der Mairie gibt es ein Postamt.
Die umliegenden Orte sind über kurvenreiche Straßen erreichbar, was Sinn macht, da wir uns in den Bergen befinden.
Restaurants in der Nähe gibt es unter anderem in Montsalvy oder Mourjou mit sehr leckerem Essen.

Das Haus in Prentegarde, Calvinet, hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Neben dem herzlichen Empfang durch unsere Gastgeberin sorgten auch das geräumige Haus und die gepflegte Kompletteinrichtung dafür, dass sich meine Frau und ich sofort wie zu Hause fühlten. Die Lage mitten in der Natur und die ruhige Umgebung trugen zu einem angenehmen Urlaub bei. Empfehlenswert.
