Bagaren is an old log house that was a baker's cottage long ago, which is completely modern. On the farm there is also Jästen, which is an attached sleeping cabin. In our little idyll you live with a fantastic view of the lake and the forest right on the corner. Take a morning dip in the lake, eat breakfast on our fully glazed terrace, sunbathe on the jetty.

If you are lucky you might see a moose or catch the lake's largest pike or a variety of perch. You can catch game fish in the nearby lake. Pick berries and mushrooms freely! If you want to enjoy nature and peace and quiet, then this is the perfect place for you. A boat is available at the neighbor's.

Das Ångermanland liegt relativ nördlich an der Ostseeküste. Die größte Stadt ist Örnsköldsvik, Residenzstadt ist Härnösand. Das Gebiet ist gekennzeichnet durch tief einschneidende Buchten, langgestreckte Seen, dichte Bewaldung und viele der Küste vorgelagerte Schäreninseln.
Härnösand ist geprägt durch seine im klassizistischen Stil erbauten Holzhäuser aus dem 18. und 19. Jh., von denen vor allem der Dom, die Residenz und das Rathaus erwähnenswert sind. Auch das Freilichtmuseum Murberget zeigt solche Gebäude sowie Bauernhöfe, die typisch für die Region sind.
Das von der UNESCO zum Weltnaturerbe erklärte Gebiet Höga Kusten in Kramfors ist ebenfalls einen Besuch wert. Im Zentrum von Sollefteĺ liegt das vom Architekten Helgo Zettervall entworfene Gerichtsgebäude (tingshuset) im Stil der schwedischen Nationalromantik. Auch die denkmalgeschützte Kaserne des Regiments T3 von Erik Josephson befindet sich dort.
Von Köpmanholmen 14 Kilometer südlich von Örnsköldsvik gibt es Bootsverbindungen auf die Inseln Trysunda und Ulvön. Dort befinden sich alte Fischerdörfer in malerischer Lage, die ihre Blütezeit im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert hatten. Aus dieser Zeit stammen auch die Fischerkapellen auf den Inseln, wovon vor allem Ulvön Gamla Kapell erwähnenswert ist.
Südlich von Örnsköldsvik befindet sich der Nationalpark Skuleskogen. Westlich davon liegt der Skuleberg, auf den eine Seilbahn führt und von dem man eine herrliche Aussicht über das Höga-Kusten-Gebiet hat.
Auch eine besondere schwedische Spezialität stammt aus dem Ångermanland: der Surströmming. Dies ist durch Gärung konservierter Hering, der bekannt ist für seinen „außergewöhnlichen“ Geruch.
