Right in town, yet quiet and secluded. This holiday home is a old building from 1820, while maintaining its charm but with completely modern standards, approx 130 sqm. Wonderful plot by the river Trosaån and with private bridge. Great old-fashioned glass veranda. Large country kitchen, TV room, living room, four bedrooms, two bathrooms.
The house has many rooms that all have personality and an old fashioned feel. In particular, the large glass veranda (30m2), a lovely room to sit in on the evening gets cool. There is a large dining table where the benefit dinner is enjoyed.
The garden is beautiful and has various seating and a hammock.
The house is on the river and it's walkway by the river down to the small town center (500m) Here you can stroll by the river or in the alleys, this is a rich variety of restaurants, bars and shops.
The perfect accommodation for those wishing to discover the charm of an old Swedish wooden city on the east coast. (Trosa is the center point of the Inga Lindström series shown on German Television) It is also close to the pristine nature with walking trails and 100's of lakes. Although the archipelago is easy to get to, with regular tour boats or rented boat.

Die historische Provinz Södermanland grenzt im Südem an Östergötland, im Westen an Nårke, im Nordwesten an Västmanland, im Nordosten an Uppland sowie im Osten und Südosten an die Ostsee. Die schwedische Hauptstadt Stockholm liegt teilweise im Södermanland. Der andere Teil der Stadt liegt in Uppland. Traditionell wird die Grenze der beiden historischen Provinzen in den Gewässern zwischen den Stadtteilen Gamla Stan und Södermalm gezogen.
Das Södermanland, das im schwedischen Volksmund auch "Sörmland" genannt wird, erstreckt sich entlang des Südufers des Mälaren. Genauso wie Uppland, seine Nachbarprovinz im Norden, ist das Södermanland reich an archäologischen Fundstätten. Bis heute konnten ca. 100 000 Relikte aus vergangenen Zeiten gefunden werden. Ebenso hoch wie die Anzahl der historischen Funde ist die Einwohnerzahl: Etwa 1 100 000 Menschen leben in der Provinz Södermanland.
Die Landschaft ist geprägt von Flachland und bewaldeten Hügeln sowie vielen Binnenseen. Nirgendwo ist das Södermanland höher als 200 m ü.d.M.
Die charakteristische Landschaft des Södermanlandes wurde durch eine Kombination aus Verwerfungen, welche in ost-westlicher Richtung verlaufen, sowie aus Flusstälern gebildet. Durch diese Verwerfungen sank das Land treppenartig nieder von Nord nach Süd.
Das Södermanland ist bekannt für seine Herrenhöfe, da es ein Zentrum des schwedischen Adels ist. Genauso wie Uppland besitzt das Södermanland einen fantastischen Schärengarten, sowohl den Schärengarten vor den Toren Stockholms als auch den Schärengarten vor der Küste des Södermanlandes.
