An extensive network of walking and hiking trails covers the area, and a rich variety of cultural, leisure, and sports activities ensures there's never a dull moment. Nearby are the renowned holiday resorts of Intra and Pallanza: Intra is known for its market and the wonderfully beautiful old town. From Intra, you can also take the car ferry across to the other side of the lake to Laveno.
