Alkmaar is one of the most beautiful cities in Holland (about 10 km away). Discover, in addition to the city, canals, and culture, the wonderful bicycle paths that take you through forests and dunes to the kilometers-long sandy beach at Bergen aan Zee (about 17 km) or to the Klimduin in Schoorl (16 km).
You can reach the center of Amsterdam by train in about 50 minutes. Hoorn is 24 km away and Haarlem 38 km.
The holiday home is located in Heiloo. Next to Heiloo is Castricum, which is a charming seaside resort with beautiful, kilometers-long sandy beaches and beach pavilions, a shopping center (2.5 km), and a lovely village center with restaurants, shops, and terraces.
You can reach the beach via beautiful bicycle paths or by car.
