In 2023, the approximately 60 m² apartment was completely renovated and tastefully modern furnished. The absolute highlight is the approximately 18 m² balcony. From here, in a sunny and quiet location, you can enjoy a fantastic view over Cannero to the lake and the mountains, without being seen yourself. To have breakfast here in absolute privacy, enjoy an aperitif, or dine by candlelight is relaxation and pure holiday feeling. Depending on your mood, you can also share your moments of pleasure with the rest of the world, as the apartment has free Wi-Fi internet access. Located on the edge of the historic eastern core of Cannero just above the old harbor, cafes, restaurants, bars, and a grocery store are just a stone's throw away. The romantic lakeside promenade is only about 200 meters away. You can reach the well-maintained public beach in about 10 minutes on foot. Whether you want to spend the day by the lake, play tennis, or take a boat trip on the lake - everything is within a few minutes' walk. If you like hiking, you can start directly from the house and enjoy the changing views of the lake and the landscape on different paths. You park your car in your private, enclosed parking space, about 200 meters from the house.

Cannero Riviera (approx. 1,100 inhabitants) was built on a so-called "alluvial fan" created by the River Rio di Cannero as it deposited material while flowing into Lake Maggiore. The name of the town itself is closely linked to water, as it is derived from the Celtic "Cenn in ar," meaning peak on the water. Due to the unusually mild climate for the region, Cannero was officially given the nickname "Riviera." Here, one can find enchanting Mediterranean vegetation with orange, lemon, palm, and olive trees, as well as camellias and rhododendrons. The old town is particularly beautiful with its medieval alleys, the small church, chapels, villas, gardens, arcades, restaurants, and the lakeside promenade. The offshore "Castelli di Cannero" still bear witness to the turbulent political history of this area. The proximity to well-known places such as Locarno and Ascona, with their annual international film and jazz festivals, expands the opportunities for relaxation, sports, and culture.
