Holiday destination
Just a few kilometers away is the large freshwater lake "Lac de Biscarrosse," which is also easily accessible by bicycle. The lake, which warms up to around 25°C in the summer, has a white sandy beach and is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts - sailing, windsurfing, kite surfing. Bike paths around the lake also invite inline skating.

Getting there
Drive to Bordeaux, then follow the motorway towards Arcachon or Bayonne. Then take the motorway towards Arcachon. Take the first exit at Mios towards Biscarrosse.

The combination of sun, sea, and lake with sandy beach can only be found in Biscarrosse!

Wir hatten in jeder Beziehung einen Volltreffer gelandet. Ein riesengrosses eigenes Grundstück mit einem geräumigen, einfach - aber zweckmäßig eingerichtetem Haus, ein traumhafter Pool, der den Namen Schwimmbad verdient, tolles Wetter am Tag und Abkühlung in der Nacht, so dass man gut schlafen konnte. Unser Vermieter war immer da, wenn man ihn brauchte und hielt sich ansonsten dezent im Hintergrund.
Die Gegend um Biscarrosse bietet tolle Möglichkeiten, den Atlantik, 2 grosse Seen usw. Ein Ausflug zu Dune du Pilat war ebenfalls ein Highlight.
Fahrräder hatten wir uns geliehen und damit auf wunderschönen Radwegen Touren gemacht. ACHTUNG: nicht auf den Hauptstraßen fahren, besonders nicht mit Kindern- echt gefährlich.
Fazit. Es waren einfach 2 tolle Wochen. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Ein nettes Haus, ruhig gelegen gemütlich eingerichtet, schöne überdachte Terrasse, gepflegtes Grundstück, riesiger Pool.
Unkomplizierte Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter.
Gute Anfahrtsbeschreibung und viele Tipps, wie zB Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants etc. alles wirklich sehr nett.
