The holiday flat is located in tranquil Schwemlingen with good shopping facilities including a bakery nearby. It is characterised by new high-quality furnishings and a large roof terrace with a view of the beautiful garden. Mrs Michler has lovingly taken care of the furnishings, special colour scheme and illustration of the flat.
The holiday flat has a spacious living/dining area with a well-equipped kitchenette. In addition to 2 modern bathrooms, there are 2 separate bedrooms. When booking for 2 people, the smaller bathroom and smaller bedroom are not included in the rental price.
Hand and shower towels and bed linen are also provided. Bicycles can be parked safely and batteries can be charged if necessary.

The wellness bathroom with free-standing bathtub and large shower is particularly noteworthy and invites you to relax. The large roof terrace is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast or round off the evening with a glass of wine and a nice meal. Sun loungers round off the overall picture.

Take a break from your everyday life and go on holiday in Saarland, in the beautiful Saargau region, not far from the famous Saar Loop, right in the border triangle of Germany, France and Luxembourg.
From here you can go on great hiking and cycling tours, with the Saar Cycle Path and several premium hiking trails, such as the Saar-Hunsrück-Steig, close by.
The towns of Mettlach (famous for Villeroy & Boch), the Saarschleife and Merzig are very close by. The area is known for its excellent food and hospitality. The cities of Metz, Luxembourg, Saarbrücken and Trier are easily accessible by car and are ideal for day trips. Lake Losheim is 18 kilometres away and easily accessible."

In 2012, my wife and I bought a house in the Mecklenburg Lake District and furnished and rented out 3 holiday flats there. My wife used her artistic skills to furnish each of the flats individually with great attention to detail. Despite the fantastic surroundings, we were still homesick and returned to the Saarland. As the subject of "holiday flats" has not let us go, we have decided to create an oasis of well-being for holiday guests in our house.
