Shopping center with cozy terraces, a forest and dune area with various hiking and cycling paths, and free mountain biking throughout the forest area until 10:30 AM. The beach at Castricum aan Zee can also be reached by bike in a quarter of an hour and on foot in about three-quarters of an hour. In the forest area, there are some pleasant stops with terraces and the visitor center 'De Hoep', where you can learn all about the flora and fauna of this rich dune area.
