Ameland is the fourth island from the west of the 'Wadden' islands of Holland. They also call this island the 'Wadden' diamond. Ameland is a diverse island, with forests, dunes and very long stretched sandy beach. It also has historical villages with a variety of shops and cosy terraces.
The two modern ferries 'Oerd' and 'Sier' will take you to Ameland in about 45 minutes.
