Bathing lakes in the surrounding area include: Thumsee, Abtsee, Höglwörther See, Aschauerweiher and more; there's a big, beautiful open-air pool in Marzoll; skiing and cross-country skiing: Winklmoosalm/Steinplatte, Hochschwarzeck (kids), Jenner, Berchtesgaden, Lofer, Ruhpolding, Ski Amadee. Golf in Weng and Ruhpolding.
A large network of hiking trails starts at the house for walking, hiking, Nordic walking and mountain biking, and cyclists and mountain bikers will find everything they love. Ski areas are easily accessible. The barrier-free pedestrian zone is perfect for a stroll.
