Pierrette and Rudy HOLIERHOEK: We have been welcoming vacationers or workers to our old house for 12 years. This lodge is part of a set of 3 buildings which were built in 1937. The first use of these places was a municipal slaughterhouse. Closed in 1974, it was used for nearly 25 years by the Hérisson town hall for rental purposes. In 1999 we bought this place and brought it back to life. We first renovated the old caretaker's house that we lived in for almost 10 years (current gîte), then we renovated the stables (current main house). Rudy, a gardener by profession, is passionate about “plants”. He plants, prunes, cuts, maintains these different gardens. Pierrette, librarian professor, arranges the interiors, collects furniture and brings these houses to life.
Independent gîte on the banks of the river, with an enclosed, flowered and wooded garden (1000m²) at the exit of a medieval village.
Ground floor: kitchen, living room with wood stove, office-relaxation area (library, games), toilet.
Floor: 1 bedroom (1 140cm bed), 1 bedroom (1 140cm bed and 1 90cm bed), mezzanine (1 140cm bed), bathroom with toilet (shower, bathtub).
Electric heating and wood stove.
Terrace, barbecue, games for children in a flowered, wooded and enclosed garden (1000m²), with access to the Aumance river. Cosne d’Allier 12 km. Vallon en Sully 10 km.

Heating, electricity or wood option to be paid on site at the end of your stay.

The price does not include: the gîte does not include cleaning, charges (wood electricity), sheets, towels and tea towels
