Niehuus ist ein kleines Dorf im Kreis Schleswig-Flensburg an der deutsch-dänischen Grenze bei Padborg und Bov, nordwestlich von Flensburg. Der Ort ist Teil der Gemeinde Harrislee. Wichtigster Verkehrsweg in das Dorf ist die Niehuuser Straße, in der auch das Kapitänshaus liegt, welche in Verlängerung der Bauer Landstraße an der Flensburger Nordstadt beginnt.
Verschiedene Wanderwege wie der Jakobsweg führen ebenfalls durch das Dorf, der Gendarmenweg auf dänischer Grenzseite unweit an Niehuus vorbei. Für Radfahrer und Wanderer gibt es entlang der Felder, Wiesen und Seen beidseits der Grenze viel zu entdecken.
