In our area, there are numerous hiking opportunities such as the 80km Waalwege trails. South Tyrol is covered with an interconnected network of cycle paths. Huge mountains beckon for hiking and climbing. We are just 10 km away from the Meran 2000 ski resort.
Getting there
You can find us by taking the A22 motorway towards Bolzano, exiting at Bolzano Sud, and then taking the expressway towards Merano, exiting at Lana/Burgstall, turn left here and then never turn until you reach the large yellow church; turn left here and drive into Schmiedgasse until it ends, there on the left side is where we are.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Gassbauerhof zu Gast. Eine Tolle Gastgeberfamilie, freundlich + hilfsbereit. Wohnung und Lage entspricht der Beschreibung. Super Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren und Wanderungen. Wenige meter zum Zentrum. Alles Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Wir haben bereits für nächstes Jahr gebucht.

Neun Tage haben wir im April 2022 die Gastfreundschaft der Familie Egger genießen dürfen. Unsere Ferienwohnung ließ keine Wünsche offen. Ohne Eingewöhnungszeit fühlten wir uns sofort Zuhause. Ein besonderes Highlight: der riesige Balkon, auf dem wir nach unseren Touren die Sonne genießen konnten. Unbedingt beachten: Bevor man Lana und die Umgebung erkunden will, unbedingt Familie Egger interviewen, die unzählige Tipps für Restaurants und Ausflugsziele parat haben. Ansonsten ist die Auswahl an Möglichkeiten riesengroß: Die von uns besuchten Restaurants in Lana sind alle sehr empfehlenswert und auch die Weinkellereien in der Umgebung sind Pflicht. Für die Ausflüge nach Bozen und Meran sollte man unbedingt die Fahrräder nutzen. Auch unsere Wanderungen waren wunderschön. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.
