Podstrana is Family-friendly due to its good location not far from all major historical and tourist attractions.
Podstrana is best known for its cultural heritage, as well as Olives, Wine and Peaches.
Long coastlines, warm weather and crystal clear water, makes Potsdrana an attractive destination.
Split is the largest and most important city in Dalmatia, and is located on the Croatian Adriatic coast The city is home to Diocletian's Palace, which can be found in the old town, and it is known for its summer evenings consisting of local music and theater.
Near Split there are many islands and culturally interesting cities such as Trogir, Solin Allte Salona and Omis.
There are daily ferries taking of from the port of Split, to the islands of Solta, Brac, Hvar, Dubrovnik and Rijeka.
In the vicinity are the National Park Krka Wassa Felen Sibenik, which is the biggest, oldest and most famous national park in Croatia.
Plitvice Lakes are reachable by car or bus.
Medjugorje -best known for Marias pilgrimage which is ideal for pilgrims and it only takes about an hour to get there by car.
Getting there
We recommend you to travel by car via the newly built highway from Zagreb to Split exit Dugopolje, then only straight from Split-Omis-Dubrovnik. Driving straight from Omis-Dubrovnik, when you are in Podstrana you drive past the Hotel Le Meridien, then you see church tower with us, at the restaurant Jure, Pizza Mario about 300 m after that is our street Kneza Mislava 25, to the left turn up drive past the church, there is our sign NIKO & ANNA.

We two are very nice people, love the mild Mediterranean climate, sea, sun and cozy evenings with nice monks with a glass of wine and barbecue. We love to dance and sing. Our house in summer months is always full of family, grandchildren, friends and lovely holiday guests. Come and enjoy the delights of Dalmatia. New air for the lungs, new things for the eyes and new ideas for the mind.

Bei Anna und Niko haben wir wunderschöne Zeit genossen die beiden sind so herzlich! Ferienwohnung sehr sauber mit liebe angerichtet -Topp .Jeden Abend haben wir die Sonnenuntergänge bewundert ( auf d.Terrasse) Von Haus bis zum sauberen Strand nur ca10 Min.dort sind viele Bars und Restaurant mit leckeren Essen .Anna und Niko haben uns Tipps gegeben:ganz bequem mit Bus zum schönen Orten fahren. Urlaub bei Anna und Niko war wunderschön wir haben uns gefühlt wie eine Familie ,wir kommen wieder.!!

Die Gastgeberin ist außergewöhnlich, so was liebes, freundliches und herzliches findet man heutzutage selten. Hat uns in der Not geholfen, wo unser eigentliches Apartment 10 Stunden vor der Ankunftszeit vom Vermieter einfach so storniert wurde. Nochmals danke!
