Westkapelle is located directly by the sea, nestled among the beach, dike, dunes, a small lake/creek, and a forested area to the south of the town.
A hiking trail is marked around the lake, and anglers can find their favored spot. Right at the town center, there's a small beach at the spot where the dike was breached in 1944.
To the south of the town begins the long beach that stretches all the way to Vlissingen! Approximately 12 km of sandy beach unfold there, where you can enjoy endless strolls along the shore. Even during a brisk southwest storm, this beach route is lively, and not just on the beach itself.
At various beach pavilions, you can stop by for a great meal, with a fantastic view of the sea.
You can arrive and depart every day. Arrivals from 4:00 PM (or upon request). Departures by 10:00 AM (or upon request).
