A wonderful week in a wonderful apartment in wonderful South Crete

This was one of the best holidays my wife and I have ever had in a beautiful part of the lovely island of Crete. The south of this island is so well worth a visit, with so much history, such gorgeous beaches and such a great welcome from the local people. The welcome we received from Georgia Androulidakis and their family was fantastic, and this apartment was so comfortable, cosy and a great stay. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I stayed seven days in Aphrodite's Apartment, which is part of the splendid Matala View Apartments in the gorgeous south coast of Crete seaside village of Matala, and enjoyed a wonderful time here. Aphrodite's Apartment had recently been completely refurbished to a very high standard and proved to be very comfortable, with new bathroom, shower and kitchen. The private outside seating area was a great suntrap and has fantastic views. The apartments are very close to two beaches and the lively restaurants and shops of Matala. The owner, Aphrodite, was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. I have no hesitation in recommending this delightful apartment which, along with the area, will never disappoint.
