"Abbiamo trascorso 10 giorni meravigliosi a Villa Oleandri. Location perfetta per conoscere la Sicilia sud orientale e Villa con tutti comfort necessari per soddisfare le diverse esigenze di un gruppo di nove persone composto da adulti e ragazzi. La piscina con acqua di mare è stata la ciliegina sulla torta, il giardino che circonda la Villa è un vero e proprio parco ricco di piante e ben curato! Bellissime le nostre colazioni sulla terrazza con vista mare. Matteo è stato disponibile e super accogliente, sempre attento a tutti i dettagli. Consigliamo caldamente Villa Oleandri! Esperienza indimenticabile"
"Amazing views of the sea and the coast from the Villa. Villa was spacious and rooms were comfortable. Big pool and soccer field was a bonus. The kitchen was well appointed. We recommend renting a car with Automatic gear shift because the climb up to the Villa from S113 is steep and winding."
"Eine tolle, sehr gepflegte Villa. Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt u.a. einen Toaster, einen Stabmixer, eine elektronische Saftpresse und sogar eine kleine Bierzapfanlage (kostet extra). Zwei Kühlschränke bieten genügend Platz für viele kalte Getränke. Pool wird regelmäßig gereinigt. Nach Anfrage hatten wir deutsche Fernsehprogramme zur Verfügung. Handtücher waren reichlich vorhanden. Leider sind die Extrakosten für Strom recht hoch. Im Hochsommer läuft die Klimaanlage halt sehr oft. Eigentümer und Verwalter waren sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür. Wir kommen gern nochmal wieder."
"Der große Garten mit hohen Bäumen, Kapernpflanzen etc. , den verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, sich niederzulassen (Gartenliegen, Loungemöbeln und überdachter Außensitz), die wunderschönen Ausblicke zum Meer und zur abends beleuchteten Felswand haben uns immer wieder beeindruckt. Die Nähe zum Meer hatte aber auch den Nachteil, dass z. B. der Grill, Armaturen und Fenster etwas angegriffen waren. Ein Induktionsherd ist schon gut. schade nur, dass bei gleichzeitiger Bedienung mehrer Geräte die Sicherung rausfliegt. Der Pool hat eine wunderbare Größe. Allerdings wäre eine Leiter zum Ein- und Ausstieg wünschenswert. Dario hat uns viele Hinweise zum Haus, zu Land und Leuten, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten etc. gegeben. Er war sehr freundlich und hat auf Mails sofort geantwortet und Lösungen gefunden. Dario, herzlichen Dank!"
"Ambiente bellissimo, purtroppo causa il meteo non abbiamo potuto godere appieno degli ambienti comuni – in particolare dell’area pranzo. Piccola pecca: in caso di un gruppo numeroso la mancanza di una cucina attrezzata di lavastoviglie si è fatta sentire. Rispondi a Taida Eva"
"Scannale is such a beautiful place saturated with interesting (and cinematic!) history and surrounded by amazing nature. Here you can start the day in the peaceful, leafy courtyard with freshly squeezed oranges from Pino's orchard, picking ripe abricots right from the tree next to the table, cuddle the Pino's dog and her puppy, and then wander through the garden to the clean and inviting pool for a morning swim. Inside the house you'll enjoy the spacious rooms, the variety of charming bedrooms and nice, modern bathrooms, and of course the historical atmosphere that is genuinly present everywhere. You can get basic provisions in the nearest village, ten minutes drive away, but be aware that for proper shopping, you'll need to go for a longer drive (and the road to Polizzi Generosa was temp. closed). There is a nice restaurant nearby, Il Baglio Antico di Maria. The only potential disturbance (if you are sensitive) is from the highway down in the valley, but none of us found it annoying."
