Holiday destination
We live here in a sunny, wide valley. Our experienced mountain guides are quite sure, that our part of the alps is the most lovely at all. The lodging is situated in a quiet residential street, but nevertheless there are just about 5 minutes to get all shopping needs, and a very good brunch at the bakers shop. Sonthofen is in the very middle of excellent holiday facilities: Insel Mainau at Lake Constance, Olympiatown Oberstdorf, World Cup Skiing Ofterschwang, Zugspitze, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, cosy little villages like Bad Hindelang, Kleinwalsertal etc. are nearby.
Getting there
From Ulm, Munich, Augsburg please follow the direction Kempten. If you passed Kempten please take the way labelled with Oberstdorf. Near Immenstadt follow the signs "Sonthofen". Please take the first slip road to Sonthofen. Don't miss to watch the alpine panorama while approaching! It's great!

De woning ligt in een rustig stukje Sonthofen. Een erg leuk stadje met vriendelijke mensen, zekere in vergelijking met Oberstdorf en Immenstad. Woning is niet geschikt voor langere mensen of mensen met rugklachten. Er is namelijk weinig ruimte omdat alles onder het schuine dak ligt. Dit maakt koken en afwassen tot een uitdaging. Steeds bij het uit bed komen stoot je je hoofd vanwegen de beperkte ruimte. Monika is een vriendelijke host die over veel extra informatie beschikt. De buren op de lagere verdiepingen zijn ook erg gastvrij en vriendelijk.

Wir können diese Ferienwohnung einfach nur empfehlen. Wir waren zwar nur zwei Nächte da, haben aber immer wieder gesagt, dass wir hier gut und gerne eine Woche verbringen könnten. So gemütlich eingerichtet, unsere Mädels, 3 und 5, haben sich sofort wie zuhause gefühlt. Es ist an so viel gedacht, Spielsachen, DVDs, allerhand in der Küche, so dass es einem an nichts fehlt. Wir haben uns alle so richtig wohl gefühlt. Frau Berktold hatte außerdem ein paar tolle Tipps auf Lager.
