Holiday destination
On Ameland, there are four beautiful villages: Nes, Hollum, Buren, and Ballum. With their old, charming Commander's houses and Ameland farmhouses, these places have a very special, unique character.
A highlight is the tour of the Hollum lighthouse... Moreover, there are numerous excursion options, such as trips to neighboring islands, mudflat hiking, boat tours, horseback riding by the sea, beach rides, cycling tours, fishing, wellness, sauna, golfing, etc...
Getting there
From Holwerd, you take the ferry to Ameland. If you wish to bring your car, it is advisable to book a ticket well in advance (online at www.wpd.nl). Upon arrival on Ameland, you can either take the bus towards Hollum to the Boomhiemke stop (inform the bus driver), or drive from the ferry towards the roundabout, take the 3rd exit, and at the intersection turn left towards Hollum. After about 10km, turn right towards "Park Boomhiemke". The reception is on the left side, where the friendly park staff will be waiting for you...

Wir waren letztes Jahr das erste Mal auf Ameland und haben uns direkt in die Insel verliebt. Nicht zuletzt wegen der wunderschönen Unterkunft der Familie Ubben.
Sie ist so gemütlich eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Auch der eingezäunte Garten ist super, unsere beiden Hunde konnten dort frei herum laufen.
Wir kommen dieses Jahr wieder :)

Wir waren mit unserem Hund bereits dreimal in diesem gemütlichen Ferienhaus und haben es für diesen Sommer erneut gebucht. Das angenehme Ambiente ist für uns Erholung pur.
