The house has a very special charm and the unique nostalgic style of furnishing invites you to take a short journey back in time. On 5 floors there are 7 double beds, 4 single beds and 2 bunk beds, 5 showers, 5 toilets, some separate, and additionally 6 washstands in the bed rooms available.
On the ground floor there is a modern and well-equipped kitchen that connects the entry area with the dining room. The dining room can be divided by a sliding door as required. In the entry area of the house is a 60m² large terrace surrounded by rocks, forest and meadow. In the basement there is a cellar bar with tiled stove, sofa corner and games. In the utility room you will find a washing machine and tumble dryer to use. You can use free WLAN, SAT-TV and Internet radio in the entire house. Pets are welcome.

Castle Rock is located on a rock above the village of Schleusegrund. The property has a spacious outdoor area with its own access road and fascinates by wild nature, rocks, forest and meadow. The village is located in the green heart of the Thuringian Forest on the south-western slope of the Rennsteig and is one of the most attractive recreational areas of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Thuringian Forest. The large woodland area with numerous mountain meadows is covered by a very well signed network of paths where hikers, cyclists, mountain bikers and winter sports fans can enjoy the beautiful nature.
