If you want to see true to original rebuilded dinosaurs, just drive 5 kms to the "Dinoland" with a great playground. The festival of Störtebeker (Robin-Hood-like pirate living in the 14th century) in Ralswiek on one of the biggest open-air stages are a special event during the summertime! In Prora you´ll find a high-rope garden, an Odysseum and a lot more. Rügen has to offer something for everyone!!!
Holiday destination
Glowe has a small but mighty harbour. You can buy fresh fish directly from the fishermen: season-depending you´ll get i.e. hering, flounder and cod. To your right hand, behind the harbour, you´ll get to the steap cliff-coast "Königshorn". On your way there you can collect witch stones (black/white stones with a hole). Left handed, the so called "Schaabe" begins: the longest and most beautiful beach of Rügen, which extends till Juliusruh - afterwards just the Kap Arkona is up there - the most northern point of Germany! Stunning!
Getting there
No matter from where you´re coming - main direction is Stralsund. From there you´ll see signs to get to Rügen and you´ll get directed above the new big bridge to Rügen, which we recommend. If you prefer you can also take the 70 years old dam to Rügen, where the traffic is regulated by a drawbridge. (The new swing bridge was done in 2007, is 4km long and the longest of Germany. It´s the new monumental of Rügen with 128m high pillars and a vertical clearance of 42m for ships. It was very important to the responsible persons that the bridge complies with the brick gothic of Stralsund AND won´t disturb the bird migration and bioversity. The imposant hight of the bridge is contributung the skyline of the world cultural heritage town Stralsund!

Das Haus ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns alle wohlgefühlt. Wenn möglich, würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche im Haus Evelo. Super Ausstattung, tolle Zimmer und das Kinderzimmer kam super an, sehr gepflegt und tolle Lage keine 5 min zu Fuß zum Strand. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
