We have fully refurbished our holiday home (built in 1932) and we have fully furnished it.
Having chosen the country-house style that connects new and old, we have created a cosy atmosphere in the house.
The doors of the rooms, the rails of the stairs, the ceilings with their hollow profile, and the Terrazzo floor in the entrance area have all been preserved.
Our holiday home is located in a quiet side street (cul-de-sac) that leads to a field and circular hiking trail, a perfect starting point for hikes in the Hohes Venn nature park...
You will live here alone. All of the rooms are on the ground floor.
Living room with paded seating area, reading corner with fireplace, bedroom with paded bed (180 cm) + baby / children's bed upon request / 2 x single box spring beds (90 cm) at a comfortable height. Big garden (700 sqm) with old trees.

Within just a few minutes you can walk to the centre of the village with its Eifeldom.
Kalterherberg has a direct like to the Vennbahn cycling trail (RAVel) - it leads all the way through Belgium and on to Luxembourg.
Picturesque Monschau, the old emperor's city of Aix-la-Chapelle, the Eifel national park, the Monschau- Rohren summer tobbogan, the open-air museum of Kommern as well as the beautiful places across the border in nearby Belgien, the Bütgenbacher See or the old city of Malmedy all make for great destinations for a day trip.

Take the A44 towards Liege, exit Aachen- Lichtenbusch, towards Monschau/ Kalterherberg
On the A 1 take exit Euskirchen- Wisskirchen, towards Schleiden, Monschau/ Kalterherberg
