Holiday destination
From Haus Ortmann, you only have 500 m to go to enter the Rhön hiking routes. The Rhön, the land of the far and wide. You can get to the Rhön premium hiking trail "Hochrhöner" via the Zubringer. Triangle border (Hesse - Bavaria - Thuringia) All hiking paths are well signposted.
Getting there
By car:
Via the A7 (from Kassel or Würzburg) to the exit Fulda-Mitte. From there, follow the B458 for about 28 km toward Hilders until you enter Batten on the B 278. Turn left, you'll reach Hilders in about 2 km.
From the west, take the A66 to the Fulda Triangle, change to the A7 toward Kassel, exit 92 Fulda-Mitte. see above.
From the east, drive on the A71 to the exit 25 Bad Neustadt. From there follow the B 279 to Bischofsheim and there change to the B 278 toward Hilders.
From Hilders, first street on the right, then 100 m right again to the Drei-Buchen-Weg. Straight to the top. The second left, dead end street to in front of the garage copper gates. Drei-Buchen-Weg 20. Park!

Beautifully clean and well equipped, spacious, light and comfortable, this apartment offers all you need for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday.
Irmgard and Irwin are perfect hosts, onn hand when you need them, yet never intrusive.
Appreciated that you can walk into the village, plus Irmgard leaves delicious cakes when she bakes - excellent bonus!
We've already booked for 2025.
