Near Gruissan there is also a safari park, aquapark, amusement park, go-kart track, horse ranch. In the harbour of Gruissan you will find numerous cafés and you can book unforgettable boat trips.
The town of Narbonne, with its magnificent St. Just Cathedral, beautiful pedestrian zones and shady banks of the Canal de la Roubine, is about 12km from Gruissan.
70km away is the imposing town of Carcasonne with the largest fortress in Europe, which takes you back to the Middle Ages. Parts of the film"In the Name of the Rose"; were shot here. Car day tours are possible in the south to Barcelona, in the southwest to the Pyrenees, in the northeast to the Camargue and Provence.
The nearby "Massif de la Clape"; is a long stretch of rock, ideal for hiking, cycling, walking and wine tasting. One can also cross the fragrant pine and pine forests on horseback.
Other very interesting destinations are Lourdes, Avignon, Perpignan, the Pyrenees and the Grand Canyon (the largest canyon in Europe).
Holiday destination
The house is located 100m from a lagoon, about 2km from the Mediterranean Sea (both with large sandy beaches) and 500m from the port.
The swimming pool in the complex (20m away; use from May to September) is at your disposal free of charge.
In the old town of Gruissan there is an old castle with a beautiful view.
In the nearby surroundings there are also many restaurants, bakeries, shops like Lidl as well as numerous leisure possibilities (e. g. amusement park "Pirat Parc" ).

Wir waren mit 3 Personen dort. Das kleine Ferienhaus liegt in einer Anlage mit Parkplatz und Pool. Die Vermieter und auch die Verwalter vor Ort sind super Nett und sehr Hilfsbereit.
Das Haus hat alles was man braucht und eine super tolle Terasse.
Das Meer ist nur ein paar Schritte entfernt... einfach Toll.
Das einzigste was wirklich schade ist ...ist das man am Pool keine möglichkeit hat sich zu setzten oder auf eine Liege zu legen und auser Schwimmen kann man dort nichts machen sehr schade weil viele Kinder dort sind. Aber da trift die Vermieter keine Schuld. Wir sind dann halt öfters ans Meer da es um die Eche ist. Wenn wir wieder in diese Richtung fahren würden wir auch wieder Buchen da die Lage und alles andere einfach Toll ist. Vielen Dank für alles .

Wir sind als Familie mit 2 Erwachsenen, 2 Teenanger, 1 Kleinkind und 2 kleinen Hunden angereist. Eine tolle saubere Anlage erwartete uns. Auch das kleine Ferienhäuschen bot alles was man für 14 Tage Urlaub braucht. Super ausgestattet, sauber, freundlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, die große Terrasse lud zum Toben ein. Einfach toll
