Holiday destination
The mountain village of Scheffau is located at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser and is an ideal starting point for hiking, mountain climbing, rock climbing, and cycling tours. A swim in the nearby Hintersteinersee, one of the cleanest mountain lakes in Tyrol, promises pure refreshment! In winter, you find yourself in Austria's largest connected ski area (Kitzbühel Alps, with over 90 lifts). Ski tourers, cross-country skiers, snowshoe hikers, tobogganists, or winter hikers will also get their money's worth.
Getting there
Exit the motorway at Kufstein Süd, head towards St. Johann, and after about 15 km turn left (signposted Scheffau).

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt bei den sehr liebenswerten Gastgebern. Die Wohnung ist zentral und doch ruhig gelegen im Wanderparadies Wilder Kaiser. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir haben selten in einer so geräumigen und gepflegten Wohnung gewohnt. Die Ausstattung der Schlafzimmer ist hochwertig und auch die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Keller konnte genutzt werden und eine Waschmaschine stand zur Verfügung. Es gab sehr viel Informationsmaterial mit Ausflugstipps. Die Lage des Hauses ist zentral, aber ruhig und die Vermieter haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Wir kommen gerne wieder :-).
