Other recreational opportunities
The paths leading from the house are perfect for going on long hikes or demanding mountain tours, the golf course is only 3 kilometres away; the local outdoor swimming pool with heated pools and extensive sunbathing areas is ideal for those who love swimming. There's also plenty to do for culture lovers, e.g. Richard Strauss Days, Garmisch Summer of Culture, Farchanter Farmers' Stage and much more; museum fans will also get their money's worth: local history museum, Linderhof Castle and Neuschwanstein, Glenleiten open-air museum, etc. The local clubs also host various events.
Holiday destination
The area is a paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. Hiking trails are right outside the front door. In the immediate vicinity there is a ski lift, toboggan run and cross-country ski trail. The heated outdoor swimming pool with beautiful sunbathing areas is just 10-minute walk away. It's only 800 metres to the train station and bus stop, from where you can easily reach Garmisch - Partenkirchen or Munich. Shops for daily needs can be reached in a few minutes.

Für einen einwöchigen Wanderurlaub rund um Garmisch-Partenkirchen bot die urig eingerichtet Ferienwohnung eine optimale Unterkunft. Die Wohnung ist mit allem grundlegendem ausgestattet und ist mit dem Auto nur 10 Minuten Fahrzeit von der Innenstadt Garmisch-Partenkirchen entfernt. Durch den Panoramablick auf die Zuspitze lässt sich der Abend wundervoll auf dem Balkon ausklinken. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Meine Frau und ich, 64 und 72, wollten die Garmischer Gegend eine Woche genießen. Die ebenerdige Ferienwohnung war eigentlich das i-Tüpfelchen dazu. Neben der gemütlichen, komfortablen Ausstattung war es vor allem die Aussicht auf die Zugspitzregion vom Balkon aus. Die Lage an der Alm, der Name sagt es, mit den Kühen ist einfach herrlich. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen, nach unseren Wanderungen am Abend draussen zu sitzen mit Blick auf das Bergpanorama: Fantastisch. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen. Zumal Herr Hirschmann sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich ist.
