Cancellation policy
The tenant can cancel the contract up to 4 weeks before the beginning of the rental period. In case the property is not rented, 20% of the total rental amount will be charged. If the contract is cancelled within 4 weeks before the start of the rental period, the full rental amount must be paid, unless subletting is possible under the same conditions. In this context we would like to advise you to take out travel cancellation insurance.
The cancellation must be made in writing to the landlord.

Holiday destination
Directly behind the holiday home there is a large meadow.
It is well suitable for a walk with a dog, but also as a starting point for hikes through the Harz mountains.
The small toboggan run there is especially popular with children in winter. On well marked hiking trails you can hike to Wernigerode, Ilsenburg, Plessenburg or Brocken.
In the village you will find: a bakery, a butcher, Netto's discount grocery, playgrounds, a sports field, restaurants, a hairdresser, doctors, an EC cash machine and a swimming pool.
Getting there
From Magdeburg/Goslar: On the highway "B6n" in the direction of Wernigerode.
Exit Wernigerode Nord, in the direction of WR Nord West/Schierke to the traffic light crossing "Hasseröder Brauerei." Continue right in the direction of Darlingerode. Enter Darlingerode take the 1st street left over a railway bridge. After the bridge, turn into the 3rd street and at the end of the street you have reached your destination. You will see the yellow house in Gartenstraße 18. Behind the house you will find the holiday home that you have booked.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden gewesen und werden gerne mal wieder hin fahren. Eignet sich auf jeden Fall wenn jmd Hund/e hat. Die Wiese und Wald gleich hinter dem Haus bietet tolle Möglichkeiten zum Spazieren und Zeit zum verbringen. Wenn Schnee kommt kann man mit Kindern auf dem Hügel rutschen. Sehr nah bis zum Wanderwegen auf Brocken. Sehr saubere Häuschen und sehr gut ausgestattet.

Wir waren zu fünft (zwei Erwachsene, ein Kind, ein Baby, ein Hund) über Weihnachten und Silvester zu Gast auf dem Finkenhof und wir haben es sehr genossen. Das Haus war sehr sauber und das allein spricht schon für sich. Das findet man nicht allzu oft. Familie Fink war sehr gastfreundlich und selbst das Haus war für ein schönes Weihnachtsgefühl entsprechend geschmückt. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und auch Kleinigkeiten für unser Baby wie Babybett, Töpfchen, Hochstuhl, etc. waren vor Ort. Der Garten ist sehr schön und gut eingezäunt. Unser Hund konnte super frei laufen. Auch Schlitten standen zur Verfügung. Wenn Schnee gewesen wäre, hätten wir die auch nutzen können. Von der Unterkunft aus waren wir auch recht schnell mit dem Auto unterwegs zu unseren Wanderstartpunkten. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen.
