Luxury holiday home in Makkum Beach Resort Park, newly renovated in 2018 right on the water (canal), with its own dock and 45m2 terrace, which is fenced. Ideal for families with children, dogs, etc.
The holiday home is our former private residence, located 10 m from the water and about 400 m to the beach.
Our holiday house is completely newly renovated, with real wood floors, new furniture, new bathroom, large sauna, new kitchen, ethanol fireplace and a very large terrace (about 45 m2), which is fenced.
On the upper floor
1 bedroom with 2 double beds (cold foam mattresses) (180 x 200 and 140 x 200) baby cot and TV
1 bedroom with double bed (180 x 200 cm) box spring beds

Lower floor:
Kitchen, living room with TV, guest toilet, storage room, hallway, terrace, garden, 3 rental bikes (no guarantee), motorboat can optionally be booked, which you can drive without a license (no guarantee)
All other costs such as heating, water, power, bed linen, washing machines and dryer use, children's cot, high chair, stair gate, 3 rental bikes (no guarantee) and wifi are included in the price. The beds will be ready on your arrival.
Dogs are very welcome. We also accept more than 1 dog.
One bedroom and the living room have TVs (a total of 2 TVs)
High chair and baby cot on site.
Our motorboat (no license with 6 PS) can be rented for 200 EUR per week (380 EUR for 2 weeks) (depending on availability).
The only other fee is the tourist tax of 1.70 EUR per person per night.
There are no other consumption-related costs.

Makkum Beach Resort Park features playgrounds and a miniature golf course. There is the option to ride a pedal boat or a kettcar as well as to rent e-bikes, bicycles, canoes or motorboats. Next to the reception there is a snack bar where you can also order bread rolls. The cheese market and the seal station are not far away.
Cheese market in Alkmaar, seal station, Texel (by ferry), Workum is very nice for a walk, Amsterdam approx. 100 km, shopping facilities, water sports such as surfing, catamaran, kite surfing, Texel submarine viewing, Harlingen, Sneek and Workum nearby.
A larger sailing port and 2 smaller sailing ports in the village, in the village itself several restaurants, shops to stroll around, a big supermarket for daily shopping well arranged, almost everything you could ever need
Coming from Olpe on the A45 towards Dortmund, then on the A2 towards Oberhausen/Arnhem then just straight on from Kampen, then towards Makkum approx. 370 km, a good 3.5 hours

Costs that will apply in the event of cancellation
Cancellations up to 6 weeks in advance = 50% of the total price
Cancellations from 6 weeks to 1 day of arrival, or in the event of a no-show = 100% of the total price.
Arrival and departure day only Friday in the high season and mid-season or
KeySafe - you can arrive without stress, the key is stored in a safe.
Entry card for the park (€100 deposit)
The beds are made upon arrival and included, you only have to bring towels.
The additional costs are just the tourist taxes of 2.00 EUR per person per day
Children's cot, stair gate and high chair are on site
Motorboats Brig or Talamex (both licence free with 6 hp engine) can be rented weekly.

We very quickly bought our first Haus Sonnenschein, and then the house Villa Romantika. Now we've moved into a slightly large house and have been offering our private Haus Sonnenschein for rental from 1 May 2017.
