Costs that will apply in the event of cancellation
Cancellations up to 6 weeks in advance = 50% of the total price
Cancellations from 6 weeks to 1 day of arrival, or in the event of a no-show = 100% of the total price.

Comments
Arrival and departure day only Friday in the high season and mid-season or
KeySafe - you can arrive without stress, the key is stored in a safe.
Entry card for the park (€100 deposit)
The beds are made upon arrival and included, you only have to bring towels.
The additional costs are just the tourist taxes of 2.50 EUR per person per day

Motorboats Brig or Talamex (both licence free with 6 hp engine) can be rented weekly.

Other recreational opportunities
Makkum Beach Resort Park features playgrounds and a miniature golf course. There is the option to ride a pedal boat or a kettcar as well as to rent e-bikes, bicycles, canoes or motorboats. Next to the reception there is a snack bar where you can also order bread rolls. The cheese market and the seal station are not far away.
Holiday destination
Cheese market in Alkmaar, seal station, Texel (by ferry), Workum is very nice for a walk, Amsterdam approx. 100 km, shopping facilities, water sports such as surfing, catamaran, kite surfing, Texel submarine viewing, Harlingen, Sneek and Workum nearby.
A larger sailing port and 2 smaller sailing ports in the village, in the village itself several restaurants, shops to stroll around, a big supermarket for daily shopping well arranged, almost everything you could ever need
Getting there
Coming from Olpe on the A45 towards Dortmund, then on the A2 towards Oberhausen/Arnhem then just straight on from Kampen, then towards Makkum approx. 370 km, a good 3.5 hours

Host informationDear guests,
we spent our holiday here a few years ago and fell in love with the beautiful village of Makkum and the great park. We very quickly bought our first Haus Sonnenschein, and then the house Villa Romantika. Now we've moved into a slightly large house and have been offering our private Haus Sonnenschein for rental from 1 May 2017. We wish you a pleasant holiday and hope your feel good in our house :)

Die hübsche Villa ist grundlegend renoviert und bestens und wertvoll ausgestattet. Alles ist sehr sauber und es fehlt an nichts. Im kalten November haben wir die gemütliche und vollständige Einrichtung samt der schönen Sauna und dem Gaskamin besonders genossen. Schöne und komplett eingerichtete Küche mit Ecksitzgruppe. An wärmeren Tagen lädt die Südausrichtung direkt an der Gracht mit großzügiger Terrasse und Bootssteg ein. Das Haus ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Sehr netter und persönlicher Kontakt zu den Vermietern.
