Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich, rustikal und einfach eingerichtet. Sie hat unsere Erwartungen hinsichtlich des Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnisses voll und ganz erfüllt. Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. In den Schlafzimmern war es sehr warm, es gab aber auch eine Hitzewelle. Im Dorf Le Chalard erhielten wir eine kostenlose Führung durch die mittelalterliche Kirche und den Mönchsfriedhof. Auch der Besuch des Musée de l'Or war sehr interessant. Für andere Sehenswürdigkeiten muss man eine Weile fahren, aber im Umkreis von 60 km gibt es viel zu sehen, wie zum Beispiel das Schloss Hautefort, Ségur-le-Château, Gorges de l'Auvézère, Grotte de Villars, Grotte de Tourtoirac ..
