Peace, relaxation, nature and stunning views. This delightful villa near the ocean has all the ingredients for an unforgettable time! It comfortably accommodates families, friends and nature lovers.

The villa sits atop one of the highest cliffs on the Portuguese coast, 200 m from the ocean. Beautiful and child-friendly beaches are 5 km from the house in Foz do Arelho, Salir do Porto and São Martinho do Porto. There you will also find plenty of cosy terraces and restaurants. The region is home to historical sights such as the castle in the medieval town of Obidos, the monastery in Alcobaça and the church in Batalha. Its location near a nature reserve and on a GR hiking trail is ideal for holidaymakers who want to discover the region on foot. You can also fill your days with a bike ride around the lagoon of Foz do Arelho, hit a ball on one of the 3 nearby golf courses or visit the characteristic Caldas da Rainha (8 km), with several supermarkets and an authentic market.

Die Ankunft verlief reibungslos. Wir hatten vom Eigentümer klare Anweisungen erhalten. Die Umgebung war ordentlich und ruhig. Es war ein sehr schönes Haus mit allem, was man an Einrichtungen für einen schönen Urlaub braucht. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass das Haus nichts dagegen tun kann: das Wetter. Anfang Juli hatten wir eine Woche schlechtes Wetter, 18 Grad, viel Wind und Regen. Gutes Wetter ist dort in dieser Region also nicht garantiert. Das wussten wir nicht und hatten es auch nirgendwo gelesen. Hier also eine Warnung. Zu Ihrer Information: In der zweiten Juliwoche waren es dort anscheinend 30 Grad und viel Sonne... es kann also offenbar ziemlich stark schwanken.

Wunderschön eingerichtetes, geräumiges Haus, ruhig gelegen und komplett ausgestattet. Schöner großer Garten rund um das Haus. Sie können auch vor Ort parken. Gute Lage, um Zentralportugal zu erkunden. Wir (Familie, 4 Personen) waren Anfang Mai dort. Wir hatten schönes Wetter und haben schöne Ausflüge gemacht. Vor der Ankunft erhielten wir vom Hausbesitzer eine E-Mail mit Informationen und klaren Anweisungen. Dies machte es uns leicht, das Haus zu finden. Wir hatten auch Glück, dass das Haus einige Stunden früher verfügbar war. Auch hierzu haben wir vom Eigentümer eine Nachricht erhalten. Der Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer per E-Mail/App verlief gut. Der Besitzer ist freundlich und antwortet schnell. Das Haus enthält umfangreiche Informationen über die Region.
