Other recreational opportunities
Ideal starting point to explore historical cities like Munich, Augsburg, Landsberg or Dachau as well as the Upper Bavarian nature. Besides the Ammersee, Wörthsee, Pilsensee and Starnbergersee are also close by and offer water sports such as sailing, stand up paddling, windsurfing etc. The area also offers many cycling and walking paths.
Holiday destination
Our holiday home is located in a small village on the southern slope to the Ammersee. With Föhn you have a wonderful view of the lake and the Alps. Imagine waking up relaxed, taking a swim in the natural swimming pond and discussing your further planning for the day over breakfast on the terrace: should it be an excursion to the historic Landsberg, a cycling tour to the beer garden by the lake or a relaxing day in the sun on the sunbed next to the pool?
Getting there
By Car: From Munich via the motorway towards Lindau (A 96). Take the exit Inning. Drive parallel to the motorway until you reach Eching am Ammersee. Turn right at the roundabout (first exit) and head towards Zankenhausen. If you're driving from Franz Josef Strauss airport, take the motorway towards Lindau (A 96) then follow the directions above. If you're driving from Memmingen airport, take the A96 towards Munich. Take the Greifenberg/Türkenfeld exit. Head towards Eching am Ammersee and then take a left turn at the roundabout (3rd exit) towards Zankenhausen. By Train/Suburban railway (S-Bahn). From Munich, the S4 line towards Geltendorf. Alight in Türkenfeld (2km from the house). We'd be happy to pick you up from there. With the Regionaltrain from Munich or Augsburg alight at Geltendorf (5km from the house). We'd be happy to pick you up from there.

Sehr gut! Schönes, historisches Gebäude mit viel Charme und Natur sowie Naturpool. Wenig Belastung durch Mobilfunkstrahlung (wenn WLAN aus), somit geeignet für elektrosensible Menschen (EHS).

Das sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtete Cosy Cottage von Familie Gangjee-Well , die Ausstattung der Küche!!, Bad und Wohnräume ließen absolut keine Wünsche offen. Das Highlight ist der sehr gepflegte Natur-Schwimmteich. Einfach nur herrlich! Sehr gute Anbindung Fahrrad/Zug an viele Ausflugziele in der Umgebung. Herzlichen Dank liebe Familie Gangjee-Well für ihre Ratschläge und Fürsorge. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
