Rakalj is a small town, very close to the sea on the east side of the Istrian peninsula. It has a spectacluar view of Raša Bay and Kvarner Bay with the most brilliant and purest sea on the Adriatic. The beautiful coast and numerous small islands are intact and offer the most romantic surroundings.
The beaches are only a few minutes away, and the way to all other Istrian cities and places is easily accessible.
Rakalj is also famous for its poet, Mate Balota, who was inspired by the magnificent landscape of Rakalj. With its gorges, sea and meadows.
