Holiday destination
We have seen it and you need to experience it first-hand: Children who otherwise have a whinge, enjoyed sightseeing in Carcassone, Southern France, and were captured by the Abbey of Saint-Michel-de-Cuxa.
Followed by a picnic in the forest amidst the mountain scenery, cooling off in the ocean in the evening, then playing boules in the market square with new friends from the beach. Nice restaurants and their specialities will spoil your taste buds.
The Catalan market square is situated between the holiday home and the many kilometres of sandy beaches. A short walk and you'll not only find the market traders in the mornings, but also evening events like artists' markets during the summer.
We're also in close proximity to numerous leisure activities for all ages (adventure climbing park - visiting wineries).
Getting there
Coming from Germany, the fastest route is via the Rohe motorway to Le Barcarès. Exit Perpignan-North/Rivesaltes.
Take the motorway towards the ocean, past the industrial park with numerous shopping facilities to the edge of the village.
The French toll is approx. €35.00.
