Generous, bright holiday home with historical, open roof trusses with gallery and fireplace. The warm colours of the old woodwork, the oak floor (in-floor heating) and the brightness of the light strip from a large dormer create a particularly pleasant atmosphere.
Two bedrooms with double beds and a bedroom/children's room with bunk bed offer quiet and relaxation.
Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, etc.), large dining table, comfortable seating by the fireplace and desk and TV corner, radio, CD player, WiFi. Large yard, large garden with old trees (total 6,400 m²) with various seating areas, spaces to retreat to, views of the countryside, games and sports.
The old, family-owned estate was restored from 2012-2015 with great attention to detail according to technical and ecological specifications for historical monuments (prize for historical monument preservation 2015, preservation of the original building materials, clay retaining wall with in-wall and in-floor heating).

Châteaus, castles (e.g. Schloss Lichtenwalde, Burg Kriebstein), mines open for visiting, leisure park for the whole family (Sonnenlandpark) very close by. Chemnitz, Freiberg, Dresden, Meissen and Leipzig, as well as smaller cities in the Ore Mountains can be reached quickly.
The library of the house is open for your use. Yoga instruction in the house or on the lake.
Hofgut Biensdorf is located between woods and lake, right in the middle of the river and pasture landscape of the middle Zschopau Valley (conservation area). Biensdorf is a small hamlet with only a few houses near Frankenberg. Wonderful walks and excursions on bike or on foot through woods, meadows or along the river are possible right from the house. Restaurants (Fischerschänke and Wasserschänke) and an outdoor swimming pool nearby, within walking distance.
By car: Autobahn A4 Eisenach-Dresden, exit Frankenberg/Sa, continue towards Frankenberg, after the first lights right to Merzdorf (2 km), in Merzdrof take a right to Biensdorf (2 km), drive into the Zschopautal to Biensdorf, the farm is at the entrance to the town.
By train: pick-up at Chemnitz Station or in Frankenberg/Sa, option to continue by bus from Frankenberg towards Mittweida, take the Fischerschänke stop (about 3 minutes), walk across the Zschopau (suspension bridge) straight to Biensdorf (800 m), pick-up possible.
