The holiday villa is located between Lucca and Pisa, near the small medieval town of Buti, just a few kilometers from the white sandy beaches of Versilia. The seaside resorts of Marina di Pisa and Tirrenia can be reached in just 30 km.
It is the ideal starting point for day trips to the well-known cultural cities of Tuscany such as Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Siena and Florence.
It takes about an hour and a half to drive to the Ligurian coastal town of La Spezia and from here you can explore the villages of the "Cinque Terre".
But the typical Tuscan landscape all around also invites you to all sorts of activities such as hiking, trekking tours and mountain biking.
All sporty guests have a variety of options such as tennis, horse riding, golf, etc. to choose from.
A visit to the Torre del Lago is highly recommended for all opera enthusiasts. Here you can follow in Puccini's footsteps or visit the museum in Villa Puccini. Numerous opera performances take place in the summer months.
Nature lovers are advised to visit the "Migliarino S. Rossore" natural park; a boat trip on Lago di Massaciuccoli, the largest lake in Tuscany, is particularly attractive.
The small, medieval town of Buti with all kinds of shops and services, restaurants, pizzerias, bars, pharmacy, bank and post office is only 1.5 km away and can be reached on foot along a charming path through beautiful nature.
