Our farm is located just 4 km from the provincial capital Bolzano, thus centrally situated in South Tyrol.
With the Bolzano Card Plus, you can travel for free on all public transport, museums, etc.
Hiking, cycling, and swimming opportunities are in the immediate vicinity.
Getting there
Exit the highway at Bolzano, drive through the city of Bolzano, until you reach the state road to Jenesien. Please turn off your navigation system. Then continue along the new state road to Jenesien, about 4 km through five tunnels, turn right at the junction to St. Georgen. After that, about 500 m down on the left side is the Messnerhof.

Wir haben auf dem Messnerhof zwei wunderschöne Wochen verbracht.
Die Aussicht auf Bozen und die umliegenden Berge haben wir beim Essen auf dem Balkon genossen, ebenso wie das Schauspiel der Gewitter in der Ferne.
Da von Bozen aus viele Wandergebiete gut zu erreichen sind, war dies der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für unsere täglichen Ausflüge in alle Himmelsrichtungen.
Als Bonus wurden wir bei unserer Rückkehr täglich von der Hofhündin begrüßt, um sie zu kraulen.
Familie Prinoth hat uns herzlich bei sich aufgenommen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
