Holiday destination
The holiday home is located in Donego, on the western shore of Lake Maggiore above Cannero Riviera. The village is situated in an exposed, car-free location with a view, 200m above sea level. From the parking area, a roughly 300m long level village path leads to the house. A wheelbarrow is available for luggage transport.
From the house, a comfortable, scenic forest trail (about 1.5km) leads down to Cannero by the lake for shopping, dining, and swimming. Moreover, there are rewarding mountain hikes in the immediate vicinity for every taste.
Getting there
From Germany, depending on your starting point, take the route via Basel Gotthard Tunnel or via Lindau, Bregenz, Chur, San Bernardino Tunnel to Bellinzona, Locarno, Cannobbio (Italy), Cannero Riviera, and after about 2.5 km, turn right towards Cassino, Ponte, then turn right after the parking deck and go up approximately 1 km to the Donego parking lot.

Hier in dieser traumhaften Umgebung braucht man keinen Fernseher und kein WLAN! Man ist immer nur am schauen und staunen! Das kann man immer der Tageszeit entsprechend auf dem Balkon oder auf den zwei unterschiedlichen Terrassen!
