Other recreational opportunities
Culture vultures can also discover many other attractions around the Herdwangen-Schönach area, and the same applies to sporting vacationers. This lightly populated area near Lake Constance can be regarded as the play area for young and the not-so-young with its many attractions that include magnificent castles and mighty fortresses, fascinating museums and galleries, several spas, a wide range of water sports, indoor & outdoor play areas and a whole host of other leisure activities.
Holiday destination
The house is in Stockfeld 2 minutes by car from Herdwangen-Schönach. In Herdwangen there is a village shop with a bakery and a baker. Pfullendorf is 8 minutes by car from the house, has an interesting town center, a wonderful lake with water skiing, swimming crazy golf, football golf and a restaurant. The house is 17 minutes by car from Überlingen o Lake Constance. In Überlingen there is a thermal bath, a wonderful, historical town center, beaches to swim from, a promenade and many ships travel from its Harbour. Meersburg is 30 minutes by car. Salem is 23 minutes by car. Heiligenberg, Illmensee and other towns on Lake Constance are all not far away. Constance itself is 50 minutes away by car.
Getting there
And here's how to find us: Follow the signs to Großschönach/Kleinschönach from Herdwangen. After approx. 4 km, you will see the road sign for Stockfeld, which is on the left, approx. 500 metres from Kleinschönach. Turn left into the upper road (the one immediately past the turn-off for forest parking). After about 50m you will see your holiday home "At the heart of Nature" on the right-hand side.

Sehr schönes großes Ferienhaus. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen schönen Urlaub als Familie braucht. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war wirklich sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Von unserer Seite klare Empfehlung.

Uns allen hat der Urlaub in dem Ferienhaus sehr gefallen , wir sind 5 Erw. und 3 Kinder gewesen. Das Haus hat Mega viel Platz gehabt und die Umgebung ist super toll. Zum spielen für die Kinder ist reichlich da und das Haus ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir hatten es schoenes Wetter nur leider jeden Tag über 30 Grad . Ein Pool ware nocht der gipfel gewesen aber wir konnten unseren mitgebrachten Pool zum Aufpumpen aufstellen. Vilen Dank liebe Famile Brown dass sie uns das ermöglichen konnten einen wunderschönen Urlaub machen zu dürfen . Wir werden aufjedenfall wiederkommen.
