On the ground floor, there is a living and dining area with a toilet and an open, fully equipped kitchen. There are spacious terraces on the north, south, and west sides.
On the upper floor, there are 2 bedrooms, each with sleeping arrangements for 2 people. The south-facing room has a double bed (200/160 cm) and a balcony with a wonderful view over the garden. The second bedroom has two single beds (200/90 cm).
Also on the upper floor is a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet.
A canoe is available for free shared use for both holiday homes.

The holiday home is located together with another holiday home and the landlord's holiday home on a 1700m² property, approximately 50 meters away from the lake. The nearest beach "Soustons Plage" is about 7 km away.

Train: TGV to Dax, then continue to Soustons by bus or rental car
Plane: Biarritz; very affordable flights and rental cars, but to Bilbao (Spain, approximately 190 km)

Back in 1994, we decided to buy a little holiday cottage on the French Atlantic coast. This decision was partly due to the Atlantic's stimulating climate, as our children frequently suffered from skin problems (eczema). We were also able to combine our sporting activities perfectly in this region (cycling, surfing, sailing, skiing...). A few years later, we decided to build the holiday homes "Picasso" and "Matisse" and are delighted to welcome guests who, like us, are enchanted by this fantastic region.
