Holiday home "Tesselwind" in the bungalow park 'De Krim'. Finally in our own house since February 2017: partially newly furnished, child-friendly, and adapted to the needs of a more or less large family.
De Krim is one of the most beautiful holiday parks in the Netherlands.
With over 90 square meters, this holiday accommodation offers plenty of space for your vacation and the best conditions for you to feel comfortable:
3 bedrooms (2 rooms with double beds, 1 room with two single beds)
2 new bathrooms.
The living room with an open fireplace adjoins the open kitchen with a large dining table.
Small seating areas are distributed throughout the property, a beautiful terrace (which will be covered next year to expand the living area with a seating area even when it rains) offers a view into the sunny garden.
Guests have access to several lounge chairs with cushions, a spherical grill, and beach toys.
In the storage room, there is a washing machine and a dryer ready for use.
The rental of the holiday home includes gas, water, electricity, and Wi-Fi in the weekly price, as well as the use of the children's play paradise.
Included in the price is also the free and unlimited use of the new family bathroom with four water slides and a toddler area. The beach house is available from about mid-April to about mid-September.

Our holiday home is located in a small cul-de-sac. Within walking distance, there are several small playgrounds. The park itself offers a rich array of amenities: a supermarket, restaurant, play paradise, bicycle rental, high ropes course, and last but not least, the very attractive brand new swimming pool with multiple water slides. A small riding stable with various small animals offers daily pony rides.
The beach is a 10-minute bike ride away (2km). The island features several beautiful old villages that provide good shopping opportunities.
Ferry: The crossing between Den Helder and Texel takes about 20 minutes. Departures from the mainland are usually on the half-hour throughout the year. During busy times, the "Teso" ferries run more frequently. A complete overview of all trips and expected waiting times can be found on the internet.
All tickets are valid for the round trip. On the return journey (from Texel to Den Helder), there is no more check. Therefore, you do not need to show your ticket again on the return trip. For your navigation system: The address of the ferry port is Havenplein 3, 1781 AB Den Helder.

If the tenant cancels the contract before the start of the rental period without naming a substitute tenant who enters into the contract under the same conditions, the following proportional rents (excluding cleaning) are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the saved expenses, provided that re-letting is not possible:
In the event of cancellation:
- up to 49 days before the start of the rental period: 20% of the rental price
- up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
- up to 21 days before the start of the rental period: 60% of the rental price
- up to 14 days before the start of the rental period: 90% of the rental price
- less than 14 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price.
In any case, the landlord will attempt to re-let the holiday home.
a) If the tenant terminates the stay early, they remain obligated to pay the full rental price.
b) A cancellation must be made in writing. The relevant date is the date on which the landlord receives the notice.
Please check whether taking out travel cancellation insurance would be sensible for you.
Bettwäsche ist verpflichtend und wird vor Ort an der Rezeption bezahlt. Ebenso die Touristenabgabe.
Es wird eine Kaution von 150,00 Euro pro Aufenthalt erhoben.
14 Tage nach Abreise wird die Kaution rücküberwiesen.
Bei Buchungen unter 6 Tagen wird die Reinigung zusätzlich berechnet.
