The quiet country house from the 18th century has been sensitively renovated in the typical Tuscan style and has served as a holiday home since 2000. It is located in the idyllic Garfagnana landscape on the border of the Apuan Alps Natural Park in the Edron Valley, not far from the small village of Poggio.
With 100 m² of living space, the two-story villa offers plenty of space for 8 people, who can be accommodated in 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in the house.

The property is ideal for parties for around 20 people in the house or 40 people in the garden area.
Indoor area
On the lower floor, the large entrance area leads to the living room with a cozy fireplace, followed by the kitchen/dining area where all guests can find space at the large table. On this level there are 2 double bedrooms and 1 bathroom with shower.
On the upper floor there are also 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two separate beds, and there is also 1 bathroom with a shower.
A washing machine is available for guests in the utility room.
Outdoor area
In the 500 m² garden directly near the house is the swimming pool (10x6m; depth 1.45m) with adjacent sunbathing areas equipped with sun loungers. There is also a hot water shower.
Right next to it there is a small outbuilding with a spacious loggia equipped with a large dining table and chairs.
The small outdoor kitchen, grill and brick pizza oven are particularly attractive for preparing meals outdoors.
A swing is available for the children.
You book the holiday home, the garden and the pool completely alone. No other people live on the property.
There is enough parking space for 4 vehicles on the property.
The property is close to a paved road, only the last 50 meters are unpaved.

The holiday home is just a few minutes' drive from the village of Poggio, surrounded by lush vegetation, very close to the well-known Natural Park of the Apuan Alps.
Here, guests can go on long cycling and hiking tours on the numerous green paths.
In the warm season, you can take a refreshing swim in the Edron River.
The holiday home is also an ideal starting point for day trips to the well-known Tuscan art and culture cities in the area such as Florence, Pisa, Prato or Pistoia.
The nearby historic town of Lucca is only a few kilometers away and the beaches of Forte Dei Marmi or Viareggio are not far away either.
The next village with a mini market, bar and restaurant is approx. 3 km away, and the post office and bank are only 2 km away.
The next larger town with a supermarket and other shops is about 10 km away.
There are also a number of sporting activities all around: horseback riding, golf, tennis, fishing in the river and visiting the thermal baths are just a small selection of options.
