Nausicaa Boulogne sur Mer, leisure park of the underwater world
Holiday destination
Equihen-Hardelot Beach is located 5 km south of Boulogne sur Mer. The area is about a 45-minute drive from the Belgian border. The coast turns south from Calais, especially when you reach Cap Blanc Nez and Cap Gris Nez. The tall limestone cliffs tower far above the sea here, and on a clear day, you can see the English coast in the distance. South of Cap Blanc Nez, you'll drive towards Wimereux and Ambleteuse to Boulogne sur Mer. The old town, with its city walls, is definitely worth a visit. The port has connections to England, where you can, among other things, take a day trip. In the inner city, there are good restaurants and cozy cafes. The shops in Boulogne are also worth a visit. One of the largest shopping centers in Europe can be found in Calais.
