Holiday destination

Arona is located in the south of the island, about 10 km above Los Cristianos. The old town of Arona is very pretty. As it is the administrative center, the ornate town hall on Plaza del Cristo and the adjacent church of San Antonio Abad, framed by beautiful old laurel trees, are located here. In the streets of Arona, one can feel the traditional Canarian culture. The narrow and paved alleys, the typical Canarian houses, and the natural surroundings make Arona a traditional rural place with its own identity. Some of the most beautiful hiking trails start from here. Just 10 km away on the coast are the tourist resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas with sandy beaches, a promenade, and shopping centers.
