Echternach, the eldest city of the country, is considered as historic hot spot and capital of the whole region . Hikers will encounter a well signalled hiking net throughout the whole region and they may discover impressive rock formations, romantic brook valleys, amazing view points on the valley of the Sûre. The small villages are quite charming and the old ruins of the castles of Beaufort and Larochette as well as the Schießentümpel cascade are worth a visit.

Die Wohnung und die Umgebung waren wunderbar. Das Wasser im Pool war glasklar und erfrischend, waren mindestens 2 Mal am Tag baden. Luxemburg zu erkunden war großartig. Das Land ist sehr schön, die Menschen liebenswert. Kommen irgendwann wieder, Hr Doos.
