In addition to offering a sun-kissed corner over the rooftops of Merano and a perfect starting point for numerous leisure activities, the village of Tirolo is synonymous with the history of South Tyrol. Among the highlights are the famous Castel Tirolo, which now houses the Historical-cultural Museum of the Province of Bolzano, and the Avifauna Recovery Centre, theater of daily flight demonstrations with birds of prey.

The Vinea is surrounded by vineyards and apple orchards, on the Segenbühel above Merano. The village centre of Dorf Tirol is only a 10-minute walk away and the bus stop is in front of the house.
