Thanks to the villa's excellent location, there is no lack of shopping or activities.
A special recommendation is Fort Myers Beach, about 15 minutes away. It offers miles of incredibly beautiful white sandy beaches that guarantee relaxation and tranquillity.
If you're already in Florida, you shouldn't miss out on visiting the city of Miami, which is about a 2.5 hour drive away. This exciting city is known for its beautiful beaches, colourful diversity and adventurous nightlife.
Getting there
If you're looking for a simple way to travel here from Germany, we recommend you take a direct flight from Düsseldorf to Fort Myers. This small, very well-kept airport is just 30 minutes' drive from Cape Coral.
You could also fly to Orlando or Miami if you wanted to experience and explore Florida for a couple of days before or after you stay in the house. Depending on the route you take, both places are around 3 to 4 hours away by car.
We recommend you book your rental car from Germany. We have had very good experiences with the "Alamo" car rental company ourselves. Their convenient online check-in system means you don't have to stand at the counter for ages after a long flight - you can just go straight to your rental car.
